F-Zero GX (GCN) Review
Graphics - 9/10
From the moment I saw this game on TV I knew that this game had incredible graphics, and it turns out...It does! Everything is so detailed and vibrant, it's incredible. There are no squares or anything like that on your television, it will all be human-like shaped.
Sound - 9/10
Of course, a game needs sound and this game has great sound. The music is mostly all techno, and a lot of it is good. Others are just songs thatll be forgotten after playing. The only bad thing is the voice overs in F-zero News. Well, now that I think of it, its really funny the way they talk, its so cheesy, but you get the real feeling like your right there infront of an actual F-Zero race!
Gameplay - 10/10
OMG, the gameplay is incredible! So many options! There are cups to race in, staff ghosts to compete against, story mode chapters to beat on 3 different difficulties. You can unlock machines and tracks, and even design and custamize your very own machine! This is not the type of game youll finish in a couple of months. The controlls are excellnt aswell. You are always pushing some button, and a direction because the tracks do all kinds of twists and turns. Also there are boosters you go over, sending speeding up, and there are also boosts which you hold with you at all times (after the first lap). The boosts send you speeding up aswell, and if you get everything nice and smoothly done, you can go faster than the speed of sound!
Replayability - 9/10
Once youve beaten the game, you think its all over, right? Nope. There are multiple levels of racing you can do, and once you think your the master, try beating master class. It's very difficult and challenging, just like a game should be.
Overall - 9.5/10
I don't know how anybody can live without this game. It has great features and (spoilers) if you can beat master class with anyone in the grand prix, you get a special video of the character you beat it with!
